I am after some info, and thought you may either be able to help or at least guide me in the right direction.
I have been offered an attachment role on the Australian feature 'Animal Kingdom'. However it is not paid at all.
It would be a really great opportunity for me to further my career in film making and enable me to meet more people in the industry, but, I am also on my 30's and rent by myself and can't afford to work on the shoot with no income coming in.
Does your organisation offer any type of sponsorship? Or do you know who I could contact for help with this?
Any info you can give me would be a great help!

10 Jan I recently attended a class on production management (film & TV) and found it quite interesting. I have no experience in the field but would very much like to correct this situation. An organiser at the class suggested WIFTVic as a resource; hence, this email.
I think that I have some skills to offer a production company like excellent modelling skills in Excel, budgeting/forecasting, marketing, and research. Perhaps less importantly, I can also speak Spanish and double up as the nurse in a production. The latter because I am a registed nurse in Victoria and have Emergency/ICU experience. On a personal level, I have worked well with a variety of people under demanding circumstances and am a quick learner.
I can work 3 to 4 weekdays a week. Like an intern, I don't expect to be paid while I learn. Might someone connected with WIFTVic be interested in showing me how to become a good production manager?

My name is (withheld) and I am a young female cinematographer based in Melbourne.
I am writing with an enquiry as I have recently been accepted to participate in {} an incredible opportunity to take part in workshops, master-classes and meeting with other emerging filmmakers from over 150 countries. The festival takes place in early-mid February, so I am currently trying to establish wether I would be eligible for any form of funding that perhaps you would be aware of?
Film Vic and Screen Australia do not offer any funding to Cinematographers, so I was hoping that maybe another avenue might be able to assist me.
Any thoughts, ideas or insights would be greatly appreciated!
